Amazon Book Reviews
“I’m a Kid with a Mortgage!” is a refreshing storybook and useful tool for children and classroom teachers. It teaches children about financial literacy, while making it relatable, engaging, and fun. After reading this, I thought about ways I can incorporate this into my classroom. I like how it illustrated and described a lot of financial terms like budget, and investment in ways that children can understand. 5/5 would incorporate many aspects shared in this book into my own classroom! – Charlene
Educators know that teaching financial literacy can sometimes feel a bit dry. But this resource, written in the style of a storybook, brings the classroom economy to life through the eyes of a student, Vinita. The colorful, engaging story makes concepts like budgeting and financial decision-making interesting and fun! If only I had a teacher like Mr. Toneira — I would have loved being in his class! Overall, this book is a fantastic way to teach real-world lessons that keep students motivated and involved, making it a great tool for both new and experienced teachers. – David
This was a very interesting book! I wish my teachers would do this, as I like being in charge and having classroom jobs and think it would be very fun! I would recommend this book to any teachers who are looking for fun ways to teach financial literacy! – Avery G
This book is incredibly user-friendly for kids! The language is simple and engaging, making it easy for young readers to follow along and enjoy the story. I absolutely loved the illustrations—they’re colorful, vibrant, and really bring the characters and scenes to life. It’s a perfect combination of fun and learning. Highly recommended! – Pablo Q
